There is a common myth going around that working out can stunt your growth, this is however not true. The entire study behind it is purely sudo science (meaning based on no facts). In fact most professional athletes started lifting weights at a very young age. For example Arnold Shwarzinager started working out when he was in his early teens around 12, 13 and he is over 6'1. In fact lifting weights can actually strengthen the bones which could make you better in sports.
Hopefully by this short post you will decide that in fact that it is better for you to work out. That is in the case that you have been properly instructed on the form of the workout you are doing. Make sure you stretch before every single workout and make sure you do not put unnecessary strain on your joints and ligaments to avoid injury.
